I keep seeing this phrase for the description of the trucks a/c... what is this referring to? is this an aftermarket deal or something? or does this tell me that they added it to the truck later? what up? I do need a/c in the truck I am going to buy and restore, I Live In AZ!!! how are the aftermarket ones anyways... ?

vintage air is a company that makes modern ac/heat systems for older cars and trucks. if you do a search on google you should be able to find a website for them. i think old air could be similar. hope that helps. Tony

My brother put one of the complete systems in his '66. He wishes he still had his deluxe heater. He would have put in an under dash unit instead. Lots of Jeeps have the under dash units and could be adapted with a little work.

old aire and vintage air are 2 companys that sell aftermarket a/c units for older trucks.. Most people use the vintage air kits for our trucks..
