Need Help Decoding Engine #'s

Looked through all the decent sites about the meanings of the different numbers on the engine block. I can not find a break down for one number on my 350. V0309FSB. I know that the V stands for the Flint manufacturing plant and the "03" and "09" means that it was produced March 9th but I have no clue to the FSB. Also got the number CE1183813 off the same ledge on the right front of the engine. I assume that this number refers that the engine is a crate engine and a stock number. Anyone else have any ideas??

Stumped.......

Re: Need Help Decoding Engine #'s

I think CE stands for counter engine or crate engine . Usually refers to an engine bought through the parts counter or replaced under warranty . I will see if I can find the block casting when I get home later .Frank
