A/N fitting question

Can someone tell me what the A/N equilavent would be to a 1/2 inch hose. I'm running -8 from my regulator to my carb. Not sure if the -6 or the -10 is bigger. I'm running 1/2 hose from my fuel cell to the regulator.

not sure of the 1/2" equivavent but the -6 is smaller than -10. I know for sure.

If memory is with me , I had to reduce to #6 from #8 on the cell to go 3/8 line.......Im pretty sure 10 is the next size bigger than your 8 (dont play with an fittings too much tho) L

I believe AN fittings are baised on #16 being "1. #8 would be 1/2",#6 =3/8",#12=3/4". Chris

Make a fraction of the numbers to do the convertion. An # as the numerator and 16 as the denominator. 8(an)/16 then reduce it to lowest terms and you get 1/2". works with them all
