Need a AM/FM radio that fits

I'm looking for a am/fm radio that will fit my 69 GMC. It does not have to be correct for the year, just has to work and fit without hacking the dash. I understand that there should be several radios that will fit.

Re: Need a AM/FM radio that fits

I'm really looking for a stock radio from a van, full size car, A body or 70's something truck that will fit and have AM/FM function. I'm going to install satellite radio and need FM for it to work.

Wes,

The previous owner put in a stereo that looks to be exactly like the first stereo on your list and then was not able to get the Kenwood disc changer working with it. I want to figure out which one is in my truck and then see if it is compatible with the changer or any other cd player but some of the models on your page don't open for me.

Any support info or web info available.

The stereo along with the amps and subs is working great other than the fact I want a cd.

Re: Need a AM/FM radio that fits

Is it CD ready? It has to be one of the sterios that was manufactured to accept the CD player. If it is, then either the 6 disk or 10 disk CD Custom Auto Sound CD player should work with it. Do you know if it is a USA 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5?? That info would be helpfull. WES

Re: Need a AM/FM radio that fits

I've got a am/fm 8-track with walnut burl facing that I think I'm going to get rid of. Not 100% sure right now. If you haven't found one after a month or two, shoot me a pm. I'll probably be interested in selling it. I think I'm going to go with a radio in the glove box and use a radio delete plate. I like the clean look it leaves.
