Re: You guys seen this one?
That truck isnt as nice as it's described. It has a quickie paint job on it. I think I knew of its where abouts before and when I ased the guy about it he said "Does that make this truck worth more to you then?" yeah, right. It was for sale for $1000 before it was painted by previous owner. They put those SS wanna be stripes down everything they sell.(a while back they had a nice 68 it didnt sell, then they put those same stripes on it) I told him V8, granny low 4speeds trucks are NOT rare as he states. Dont read his long descriptions of 67-72's if you are a inliner fan. It will make you feel as your truck was a red-headed step child.

Re: You guys seen this one?
I will accept the double dog dare! My 70 K20 had only 41k original miles!
There are a ton of these trucks that were nothing but farm trucks and have relatively low mileage.....but does it really matter once you replace the engine, transmission, bushings, and axles for what you really want anyway?

Re: You guys seen this one?
sorry for the red headed comment. I ought to forward this link to this guy so he would know what people are really saying about his absurd appraisals on this gem of a "beauty". If somone from somewhere else needs a clean OK truck I can probably tell them where one is. But this guy is joking.

Re: You guys seen this one?
Is the gun rack a factory option? A special south western edition? I also like the straight front bumber and the super rare seat!

Re: You guys seen this one?
When he had the 68 truck on their it was the same exact short story. A week ago He had a plain jane 72 malibu. cheapie quick paint with the same darn SS stripes and it was a 6cyl non factory 3speed on the floor. He was wanting some high price of $5000+ for it. It also had a long narrative report that looked more like a legal document.

Re: You guys seen this one?
It looks like they just slapped a coat of paint on it, I wonder if they even sanded it first. Just reading the description the guy sounds like a sleeze ball used car salesman. a million dollar smile & a $30.00 pair of shoes.

Re: You guys seen this one?
I dont think this gives Oklahoma trucks or people a bad Name, mutts like him are thick as thieves every place you go. I know and have met lots of people from OK this would be the first shady one I have seen, OK is the only state I have been in where strangers wave at you when your driving down the road and I am not talking about using their middle finger to wave with either heh.
Everybody need to start asking the guy dumb questions see what he says, waste his time. |

Re: You guys seen this one?
Yes, most of the farmer's will be glad to help you and are friendly there. And Most do wave at everybody that drives by and most will let you fish their ponds if you ask too!!! Some people say "you're crazy going up to people and asking if this or that is for sale?" 99/100 wont care and even if they don't want to sell theirs they might know someone who does and will redirect you. I never considerd OKLAHOMA the south until I went to school in Kansas city a black lady asked if I was from the south I said no, OKLAHOMA. I brought a buddy back and hooked him up with a girl I knew. He used to say Oklahoma, southern hospitality.....
