Yes it is cold down in this area. I am going to college in Wahpeton which is 40 miles south of Fargo and it was -13 this morning plus windchill. Even though it is soo cold we still get some pretty stupid people trying to start their diesel pickups, just to drive two blocks. Needless to say they never got them started.
