Re: eaton 4.10 third member

Don't feel to bad, -I've got a complete rear from smae/same ratio. Noone even asks about it for $25. I'd even get it loaded! To much stuff sitting around that I won't use and I can't bring myself to throw anything away.

Re: eaton 4.10 third member

Anyone from www.stovebolt.com looking at this (was linked by a member) feel free to e-mail me @ cockroach93@yahoo. com . PLEASE be sure to put something about 4.10 gear in the title...otherwise, it'll go right into the trash bin.

cadiac, I am rather amazed at this, with everyone complaining about the RPMs there trucks drive, you'd think some one woulda bought it.
Oh well, if it gets scrapped, then some one can buy it as a Honda fender after it gets melted down.

Well let me know if you can hold on to it until January... Cruising at 3000 instead of 3500 might be nice...

I can be up there around the middle of the month. Let me know, I could shift that around a little. I do appreciate you keeping it around this long.

Re: eaton 4.10 third member

not anymore... sorry.
I scrapped most everything eles off that truck. I was going to keep both the front susp (so I could upgrade later, discs) and the rear axle (for selling stuff) but they were very heavy (hard to store) and I was dead broke and couldn't sell them on here, so I had to scrap it all.

Re: eaton 4.10 third member

wibilly, PM grendel, he just sold me a bunch of parts for a 67 k20, he might have the backing plates you are looking for.
Great guy to deal with, parts will even be completely protected by the trucks frame oiling system! (sorry, inside joke).

Re: eaton 4.10 third member

I'm running a 4.10 in the rear of my eaton and the RPM's aren't that high. If any of you guys are interested I have a 3.55 3rd member for a eaton rearend, I'd like to sell.

Re: eaton 4.10 third member

Big ol' chevy, are you sure its for an eaton rear axle, I was of the understanding that they only came stock in 4.56 and 4.10? Are these aftermarket gears?
I would be interested if you have pics.
Where are you located? Cost + Shipping to 48198?
