parts washer and blast cabinet advice needed
I am looking for some advice on parts washers and blast cabinets. Now I know Harbor Fright, etc. makes cheap tools. But I won’t be using either of these everyday. Are they still worthy considering the price?
I am looking at the 20 gal washer on sale for 69 at HF which supposedly puts out 50 gph. I am also looking at a Clarke washer for 99 which puts out less (25gph) but is a better brand (I think). Anyone use either? HF has a 40 pound capacity cabinet for 299. Cummins has a 40 pounder for 199. look to be basically the same overseas manufacturer from the outside. Why would there be a 100 dollar difference? |

Re: parts washer and blast cabinet advice needed
I have the HF 20 gal parts washer. The only problem i have had is the spring that holds the door up broke, so i have to use a prop. Besides the motor goin bad or a hole in the bottom, i dont think you could go wrong with it. I wish i could say the same thing for the bead blaster. It wasnt worth my energy of carrying it out of the store! A total POS! The lid doesnt seal, the light blew out 10min into it. There was more glass beads on the floor when i was done than there was in the box!
