Lowering rear to level truck

LMC list a shorter rear spring shackle and it is my understanding that it will drop the rear about two inches. My 85 SWB sits up real high in the back, ungly as all get out. I don't want to lower the whole truck, I'm not into that scene, but I do want to, more or less, level the truck out. Do you folks think these shakles might do the trick for me without screwing up the movement or function of the rear leaf springs? Thanks for your opinions.

Rear shackles will do the trick. I would search out something "cheaper" than LMC. Try Summit Racing or Jegs for example. Look for either "Belltech", "Western Chassis", "DJM", or even "Summit's" own brand. Most likely you will find something more affordable.

I believe Summit's house brand is actually Ground Force which is also very good quality. 2" shackles will be perfect for your inquiry. Most shackles will have 2 sets of holes. the lower ones are 1" and the upper ones (the holes at the tip of the shackle) will be the 2" setting. I'd just go straight to the 2" and you'll be good.
