The Tahoe console is rounded on the sides so you have to take that out. If you look at the photo that 86swb posted you can see that the sides are the same width from front to back after surgery with the Dremel tool. The back side of the console has some clips and brackets that will need to be trimmed too. I also removed my stock interior light and moved it to the console.

Both installs are easier done with the headliner board out of the truck.
Both take the better part of a day to finish (or 2 days if you're slow like me).
Both look really good if you take your time and fit everything properly.

That Tahoe console you modded looks nice. Great job.
