FS: Complete 350CID 18000K miles, But ...
I thought I would ask...
I bought another 72 Cheyenne, and on the way home the balancer spun off the crank, upon inspection, it looks like the rebuilder didn't tighten the center bolt all the way and it ate up the key way.... no damage to the motor though.... this engine ran great on the 4hr trip home, spun the balancer about 3 1/2 hrs into the trip... it did run a little rich. I ordered new 350HO GM crate motor Votec, and have already installed it... But I hate to through this motor away, or scrap it .... I'm telling you all it needs is a crank, the crank kit comes with main bearings and rod bearings. and it cost $89 at O'rielly's Its a 4 bolt main as well... Just a thought, let me know if one of you could use it and lets see if we can help one another... By the way it has a Quadrajunk 4 bbl and a GM HEI, Can take pics if you want them TS |
