Pics needed, I'm really close...

To getting to start the Blazer up and run the engine. I need some pics of the clutch linkage though. I have a stock 350 with a stock 4 speed, I think SM465. I need to make sure my linkage is right though. Could someone post pics of their linkage including the z-bar and return spring? I think any 4wd truck would work. Thanks, Jeff.

If I remember, I will get you a couple pics from the build book when I get home today. Work gets in my way sometimes.

Dang, I have not figured out the logical order of the build book - no index. Here is a pic of a right hand drive for a 6 cylinder--think in opposite. I will keep looking for the left hand V8. Will stumble across it someday.

Sweet! Thanks Mudpuppie! Thats what I was looking for. Funny though, mine doesn't have that bracket that goes to the tranny bolt. Is your ball stud mounted to the engine? Mine is. Thanks, Jeff.

Red.....the 2wd is different than the 4wd.....like you said your ball stud is mounted to the engine block farther up without the bracket.....I will try and get you pics of mine tomorrow if no one else comes up with any.....LMC catalog has pretty good pics of the linkage if I remember correctly....Paul

Re: Pics needed, I'm really close...

kns, thanks ya, lmc shows some of the linkage, but not where the ball stud is on the engine or where the return spring goes. It doesn't show the bracket on mudpuppies setup either. I'm just wanting to make sure mine is hooked up right before I start it up and try to drive it down the road. The assembly manual is a little vague too, except on the 6 cyl. model. Jeff.

Re: Pics needed, I'm really close...

Those are perfect! That is exactly what I needed. By the way, sweet looking engine and exhaust! Looks like mine will look when I'm done. Is that a heat riser I see there?
