Anyone know a good source for wiring diagrams?
Been thinking about this and searching the internet, but have yet to find anything.
Everytime a do a OEM conversion, I end up buying the FSM just to get the PCM pinouts and wiring diagrams. My last conversion (the 99 Burb drivetrain into my 71 C20), I bought the Helms manuals directly from Helms. The wiring schematics are terrible. So.....instead of buying the FSMs, is there a source for just decent wiring systems schematics? Surely someone out there specializes in wiring diagrams.....anyone know of a place to contact? Tim

Jim Osborne Reproductions, Inc.
101 Ridgecrest Drive Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045 Office 770-962-7556 Fax 770962-5881 Tim I have always used the diagram out of the service manuel, and it seems to be the best one. However this guy above sells just the diagram, It looks to me like the same diagrams from the GM service manuels. I think he sales them for $11 or so. I think you can buy them from LMC or Golden State and places like that as well. TS |

It Sounds like more pictures that need to be added to the FAQ's,
unless of course it is already in there, that area sure is growing.

Re: Anyone know a good source for wiring diagrams?
What I am looking for is a diagram that has more than one system on it. The FSM for the 99 Burb has the diagrams split by system which makes tracing them a real PITA!!

Re: Anyone know a good source for wiring diagrams?
The FSM for the 99 Burb was a 4 book set (each the size of a yellow/white pages)!!! and they were way in excess of $25....closer to $100. I wonder if the Haynes or Chiltons will have any 'simplified' wiring diagrams?

Re: Anyone know a good source for wiring diagrams?
I will tell you that the diagrams are poor for the '69 that GMC Paul's sells. My book did not come with any of the front harnesses (lights, engine). Does someone else sell a book with the ENTIRE truck's wiring depicted in it?

Re: Anyone know a good source for wiring diagrams?
I went ahead and bought a diagram from http://www.ahdol.com/
I had an email with a 2MB pdf file within 1 hour...now that's what I call service. It was ~$14, and the diagrams are clear and concise!!! Tim
