AC vacuum help
My AC now works, but it only blows out ont the floor. There is no vaccum to the switch??
Does anyone know where I should look to find the vacuum line under the hood? I know where it is under the dash. Oh its an 84 6.2 diesel. Thanks Damon

In order here is the vacuum system. Vacuum pump, T fitting then it goes to the Booster(if vacuum booster is there). The other line goes to a check valve, then to the vacuum canister. From there it goes inside the cab. Check the cannister, vacuum lines get knocked off this thing pretty regularly. Also check the check valve. It should allow vacuum in but close when there is loss of vacuum.

If it only leaks when you run the ac, try taking a coat hanger, bend it into a small loop and run it inside the evaporator drain hole. These often back up with mold and do not drain properly

You the man.. Thanks.
I want to go pull it onto the garage now, but the neighbors don't appreciate the diesel starting up all the time. LOL
