Re: How fast do you think this truck will go?

You might want to ask for a few more spare tires, but that's just my opinion. HURRICANE ready!!! And it's redneck owned.

Re: How fast do you think this truck will go?

Based on a gravitational pull of 32 ft/sec^2, and a fall from say 10 seconds, I'd figure somewhere around 218 mph assuming a downward velocity of zero at the start of the fall. The cliff would have to be a good 1000 foot high or more, lets just say 1500 feet. That is with the outboard NOT running of course. The added acceleration over gravity in air of the outboard would likely be negligable.

....whatever floats your boat....

Nice to see that unused vehicles can be adapted to many other needs. Beats using it for a chicken house....

I swear it's not my truck y'all

That was a rare and special option only offered here in the Carolinas. What you did was tie barrels to the side of the truck (barrels not pictured, but check the options sticker, they should be listed under "special flotation device") and the truck would then float on water. You could then troll out to your favorite fishing spot, throw a tire or two in the water with a rope tied to it for an anchor and fish away. The reason for so many tires was that they are hard to pull back into the truck, so you just cut the anchor and left the tire in the water.

Just so y'all know, this truck ain't worth jack without the OEM flotation barrels.

Re: How fast do you think this truck will go?

How in the heck would you get something like that to plane out? That outboard is MUCH too small for that truck

Re: How fast do you think this truck will go?

I'm originally from Oklahoma and I spotted the problem right off. It was a redneck jacuzzi when purchased new. Somewhere along the line an inexperienced redneck turned the trolling motor to the outside. If the motor was turned the other way and the bed filled with water, you could sit in the bed with your favorite beer and maybe a large redneck woman and enjoy an afternoon in the jacuzzi.
