Re: Tonneau cover?!?!
I have experience in both the hard tonneau covers and the soft covers. For a hard tonneau, I presently have a SNUGLID with the two seperate locks and it sets low to the top of the bed. ( www.snugtop.com ) I use this truck to travel a lot and it affords me some security in the bed for locking items in and not haveing to worry as much about theft. The soft tonneaus that I have used and also the same one that the "86 Red Bowtie" above has is the Extang "Classic Platinum" with snaps and an aluminum frame. ( www.extang.com ) These work well so that you can roll the cover and haul items without removing the hard cover.

Re: Tonneau cover?!?!
I think you are the first one to say the quality and fit of the checkerpro one is good. I thought the fit and finish sucked. The hinges were cheaply made and the side pieces that snap to the shocks were cheap as well. It never broke..but mounting it was fun since they included the cheapest screws on the planet lol. Maybe they made some improvements in the last 4 years though. Glad you like it. I would like to get another one on my truck now.
