57 rear stepside fender value

hello, a friend of mine has a pair of rear stepside fenders for 55,56,57 ? not sure what all years they fit, he wanted me to check the value on them, they are in great shape with very minor rust on them, drivers side is notched for spare, any help or info appreciated

well, repor fenders are like $250 each, so i would think they would be worth $350-$400 for the pair. maybe more since they are the notched one

They fit 55-66. Search eBay to see what they go for. The notched drivers side is worth less than a full drivers side. I recently paid $80 delivered (local) for a full 55-66 stepside bed in fair condition. If they are in good condition and prep'ed/primed they'll probably get 100-150 each.

I agree that they're worth $100- $150 in fair condition...but not prep'ed/primer. If they were prep'ed/primered I'd say $200-$250 each.

Re: 57 rear stepside fender value

You're right. I didn't mean ready for paint, just solid and sealed. I just look for good deals and if you look long enough you'll stumble across a few. That's why my perception may be skewed.

$100-150 would be a decent original fender with minimal rust, and maybe a few dings.

It seems like I see 55-66 beds made into trailers everytime I go on a road trip and I'm not prepared to buy... I happened to find one and jumped on it. I think people who are still using them as trailers, or just letting them sit generally don't know what they are.

It really depends what part of the country your from. Out here in the northeast, there gold. You guys in the states where stuff doesn't rot are lucky.
