hell ya they do!!! I love the look of it but be ready when you are getting out of ur truck in the rain. If I was you I would shave them a lil water every now and then isnt a big deal.... just my opinion

Re: Shaved drip Rails ? on DD
my 73 never had them, and my '87 has them. There isn't THAT much of a difference. If it is raining, you are going to get wet.

Re: Shaved drip Rails ? on DD
If I go ahead and do this body job they are as good as gone.
I was looking at the truck and it would look way cleaner with out them. It's hard to pitcure it torch red as it's blue right now. But I have 2 gallons of Red so I have to use what I have avaible. The truck is my 84 C20 it's kinda a beater but I want to make it look presentable as well a clean as it will be my Roofing company truck.

I took them off the 83 the day I got it, never made a difference to me except looking better without them.

Whats the best way going about taking them off? I have a 70 c10 and and it appears to me that they are part of the cab. Should I just start cutting and grinding? Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

I Shaved Mine And Never Regreted It. I Think It Looks So Much More Cleaner. When Its Raining I Get Wet Just Walking To My Truck. It Does'nt Rain To Much Here In Nor-cal, But To Me The Looks Far Out Weight The Function.

Big Shoe.
It's a pretty time involving process from what I have read. A Search for drip rails and see what that brings up. I left them on my 67. I like the look of that style.
