Dumb ???????
Ok here it is.where does my temp guage go?I have the double hump heads off of a 327 and have nothing in the heads to put a guage in.So is there any other choices?Thanx in advance.................James

Might want to look on the intake manifold by the thermostat.

I have a edlebrock RMP intake and nothing in or around the thermastat.Any other places to look?

Get a OEM style thermostat housing from a late 70's 350 that had the vacuum sending unit access in the top. Or find someone who has a tig welder and install a bung for your sending unit.

Unless I'm thinking too much Oldsmobile, there is a plug in the side of the block, will either be a hex (allen) or square. should be either in front of the front soft plug or between the 1st and 2nd soft plug on the left side of the block.

The performer RPM has a hole on each side of the T-stat housing.

on my 69 350, there is a empty slot on the drivers side that i plugged on my performer intake that could be used for a coolant temp sensonr, also, i have the double hump heads, and my temp sensor is between cylinders 1 and 3 on the block..

This engine is out in my garage, and no it's not mine.
 And BTW, I don't have the housing we spoke of last night. But this engine has one, and that's what I'm speaking of.
