Re: My 69 custom/30 rollback project
I traded a junk 96 sunfire that i had $300 bucks in for the camper even up...then i had my purple truck, since 1985...yes that long...and i just got the rollback bed for junk price of $200 bucks...he wanted it gone... I am not hurting one bit in making this cool truck...And the bed's 2 electril 9,000 lb winches are going to be remote control...no wires when i get done with it..Glad to share the info....Make youself a carhauler.....Robb is going to make one too.

Re: My 69 custom/30 rollback project
That is a good idea what you are doing there. There is an awful lot of motorhome chassis running around with little or no miles on it. Looking good.

Basicly it is a 50 series chassis..Its a p/ chassis...the steering box has an adapter on it for the box to mount straight up,You remove 4 bolts, and bolt up a 2wd box to it...that simple..and the 77 camper has a 67-72 tilt column in it...Not a van tilt....a leftover tilt...bolt in...any 67-72...Look at those campers for goodies like this...
