Dash cluster
Look what I just bought. Hopefully this will freshen up my cluster some. Factory tach. Looking forward to putting it in. The only gauges that work in mine right now are the speedo and the oil pressure.

Re: Dash cluster
Nice find! I just found and installed one in my 82 last month. For mine it was just a simple swap.

Re: Dash cluster
Thanks 82Silverado, I also ordered a sending unit so I will have to drop the tank for that. I may need some help hooking it up depending on what the back of the tach looks like. Maybe it will be simple, the one I have one is an electronic nightmare. I also could not figure out the wires for the gas gauge. If anyone has a schematic or pics of the backof the cluster, please post them.

Re: Dash cluster
WHOA! I can't really tell by the pic but if that is a VOLT gauge in that cluster DON't put it in your 74 yet?
also the left tab being missing is not a big deal, but your truck is an automatic and that cluster has the guide for the gear slector cable broken out(fairly common). If you have not already visited the link to the 'TACH INFO BY YEARS' then someone needs to hook you up with the link first. DAVE

Re: Dash cluster
Crossy-Thanks for the heads up. I didn't notice that the tab was broken. My cluster is good, so I am not to concerned with that I just wanted all of the gauges. I can take the gauges out and just stick them in mine. I would like that link, I searched the board and google with no results.
