It kinda looks to me like a '67/'67 bottom, with a '69 and up top.
Anyone ese think that? Look at haw angular the top is, but the bottom, the edges are all rounded. ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. Well I dont know seats well...but I have a
'71 bench. I believe it to be original because it has the metal identifier tag still attached to the back with the '1971' datecode Anyway, its a non-folding seat and it has the spring bottom pad, not the 'better' solid foam piece that can be replaced and my springs on the drivers side are broken making the seat rather lumpy feeling to sit in. I dont know if any of this info helps, but guess it cant hurt. ------------------ 71 Chevy C-10 SWB Fleetside WAS:307w/3-on-the-tree NOW:350TBI/700R4/3.73 See it at www.prismnet.com/~grzanich

The back vinyl is the 71/72 Custom trim pattern. The bottom of the seat would originally have had the same. It looks like someone replaced the seat cover at some point. The repro cover will work on this seat.
As for bench seats, there were 2 configurations regardless of year. The full foam version is what you have and the reproduction covers are designed for it. The other style uses a folding back and has a thin foam pad set on springs. The repro covers are not designed to fit these. Never seen a non folding thin padded seat. ------------------ Jeff Jesseman Cheyenne Parts Northeast Franconia, NH 67 Chevy SWB Fleetside 70 GMC Burb 1/2 ton 2wd 72 Chevy Burb 3/4 ton 4x4 Parts bought and sold [This message has been edited by CPNE (edited April 23, 2002).]
