Burb Vent Shade
Does anyone know where you can buy vent shades for our Burbs? I am beginning to think they do not make them for the Suburbans. Wish GM made the front doors same as the trucks and this would not be a problem.

I have looked all over with no luck. I guess no one makes them for our Suburbans.

Re: Burb Vent Shade
I have searched high and low and they are NOT made yet. I have not taken the time to look into it....but I am fairly sure if you wanted to use the new stick on plastic type that you could come up with some variation that would work.

Re: Burb Vent Shade
I guess there just are not enough of our Burbs around to make it worth making these for the '67-'72 Suburbans. Wish they would. Wish "Somebody" would.

Re: Burb Vent Shade
I guess back when our trucks were new you could get them because
there was a 68 Suburban for sale on ebay a while back it had an old set of stainless steel vent shades on it, I emailed the guy and asked if he would sell them to me, he did, and I got them from him. But you know I just stashed them away with the rest of my stuff I did not even test fit them on my Burb. I never thought much about it sence I bought them, I thought that they were still available in at least reproduction. I'm really not even sure if the truck that was on Ebay was a 1968 Suburban or a 68 Panel truck. So I may not have the one for the 3rd door. |
