1969 Rearends wt 307
I just got back with a 1969 Chevy parts truck. I bought it to swap out the rearend in mine. The owner said it had a 307 with a 3 speed transmission (no longer in truck). I am wondering what gear ratio usually went with this engine set up. Any help is appreciated.

I am almost certian a 3.73 gear would be standard with a small block and a 3 speed.

Re: 1969 Rearends wt 307
Thanks for the info. 3:73 is what I was hoping for. The one that went was a 3:07 gear. I wanted the 3:73 with my built 350.
