We used LMC aftermarket doors repairing my friend's '85....the fit/quality wasn't very good. I'd either buy factory doors, or find a good used door.

Re: Aftermarket doors

The aftermarket doors that I used on my truck were around $90.00 from a local supplier.
The fit wasn't like the factory originals that I removed. The radius from the window down, seemed too big. That left the bottom 4" sticking out from the fenders about a 1/4". A had to shim out the bottom of the fenders to make it even. I also had to physically manipulate (bend) the top of the door out to make it flush with the cab drip rail surface. Factory doors would be nice if you can get a good set.

Re: Aftermarket doors

I got a set from Eagle parts. Just your avarage junk jap crap. They were $75 a peice and I did do a quick test fit with one since i had to do some welding to the cab hinge area and the new door fit very well.

Re: Aftermarket doors

if you do get a set of "aftermarket" doors, from my experience, the best fit/quality is "c.a.p.a. approved" "gordon's" doors......very little work to get them to fit

i get them from the next town over, at an autobody supplier...i can get there number for you if your interested

Re: Aftermarket doors

Along these same lines...I picked up a set of TriPlus doors at the Carlisle swap meet last year. Driver side fits great. Passenger side the window frame radius is not right. Won't fit the passenger side at all.
I think I paid $180 each for these....kinda sucks.

Think I'm going to try and find a repairable passenger side original door and use it.
