Post Bellhousing question

I have a cast iron bell for my auto-4spd swap. It's the one made foe our trucks. Question is; Do I have to use that one, or can I use an aluminum one from a different car? If so, what cars are best? Also, any idea where I can get the bracket on the frame for the clutch mounting?

I have a saginaw 4 spd. was going to use a muncie, but too much $$$. The bell I have now is the one with the big hole, and it all bolts up fine. There is a gap, but it will work, plenty of contact area. Just wanted to try to save some weight if I could. This thing is heavy enough.
