clutch linkage

I have a 4 speed to swap into my truck, but need the linkage, pedals, etc. A friend has all the stuff for a 68 model with a 6 cylinder/3 speed. Does anyone know if it will all swap to my truck, or will I have to find a truck the same body style with a standard?

Re: clutch linkage

It would prolly be simpler to find pedals from a 73-87. The pedals pivot off a dash support that also braces the firewall for the master cylinder. The z-bar, bellhousing, and clutch linkage is different on the older trucks than what is used on the 73-87 so I would assume the pedals are also.
