Re: what headers can i use on the dropped c10
Here is a set on e-bay now. From rodpartsdealer. I had to do a little grinding in the bolt holes to get them to fit right but no big deal. Mine are coated not chromed.

Re: what headers can i use on the dropped c10
Yeah i had to do 2 or 3 holes on each header. I used allen head bolts and still had a little trouble getting them in the holes and lined up with the head. At the most i had to elongate about a 1/16th.

Re: what headers can i use on the dropped c10
I have the jet coated headers from early classic customs and there great. They should be for 400 bucks. I have my 72 c10 hammered and there is zero problems with them hitting anything. The only thing was when I Z'd the frame I moved the motor forward 3" so the header collector was not burried into the firewall which also prevented me from cutting the firewall for the HEI. The noly down fall was I had to get a new drive shaft.....

Re: what headers can i use on the dropped c10
I have a set from Street and Performance that doesn't hang below the frame. I think the cost was around $400 and they are ceramic coated.

Re: what headers can i use on the dropped c10
im using dyno max chevelle shortys pn 289 86118 ceramic coated for 259 plus shipping i had them in 2 days from jegs they are 1 1/2 primaries and 2 1/2 collectors they sound small but its not going to make any diff on a street motor (between 1 1/2 and 1 5/8 primaries ) you can see a pic in the tubular trailing arm thread p.s. i didnt have to grind anything

Re: what headers can i use on the dropped c10
LUV2XLR8 bought some Hedman headers for GQ. I'm pretty positive they would work on a 2WD if you tucked the exhaust in the frame. Look at the pics in his sig and check em out.
Hey LUV what's the part # on them headers?
