Tailgate paint scheme
Were the raised letters on stepside tailgates painted a different color than the main body color in 1972? I've seen some both ways, but want to keep it authentic. I like the "Chevrolet" painted the same white as the cab top. Thanks, Mark.

Buy the stickers...much easier and less chance of throwing it out of the garage in anger.

Thanks, Longhornmail. I was going to have a shop paint it anyway. Someone rear ended me and I got a new tailgate in the deal. Just wanted to know if the white letters were an original Chevy thing or not.
