American Racing Torq Thrust II rims

Hi all, I found a deal on some American Racing Torq Thrust II in a 17 by 9.5 for $600.00 for the set, they are like new but I am planning on putting them on a 1972 Chevy Stepside with a 5 inch drop in the rear and a 3 inch drop in the front and hope they fit, my question is has anyone put anything this size with this much drop and did they fit and a tire selection. Thanks

Re: American Racing Torq Thrust II rims

Yes they will fit, make sure they are a 5on 5 bolt pattern and that the backspacing is 4" for the front and 4.5" to 5" for the back. Tires for the front 245/60-17 will give you a tucked stance with little to no rub and for the rear try a 275/55-17. Good luck....
