Re: omg i'm back!

I seen a pretty sweet mod that would go perfect with your truck. Shave those bumper bolts then get it re dipped. That's what I would do and at first it wouldn't be that noticeable but more of a blended in look. I saw it on a rerun of Trucks but your truck has the look for it.

Re: omg i'm back!

yes, it was FILTHY when i took those pics i'm living in edmond at an apartment so the truck stays in okc at my parents place. my dad drives it every now and then, its maybe seen 400 miles in the past 5 months.

i think on the weekend i'll start going over there and working on it some more. cant spend much money on her though, since we've got a baby boy coming at the end of april

Re: omg i'm back!

Eric: What did you use for a temperature sending unit when you switched engines? Did you have to swap it for a different, larger diameter one to fit your new heads? See my post regarding my problems:

thats one of the main things wrong with my truck

the stock temp gauge sometimes pegs out and says its over heating, when its really not. my electric fans come on at 200 and when the temp gauge says 260 they arent on, then it moves back down slowly to normal temp(180) then later on the fans come on around 200 on the guage.

i'm gonna pick up an autometer sending unit for the ultra lite gauge i've got to see if that will work correctly
