Re: You must see this.
That's one of the cleanest stock 68's I've seen anywhere.
There's no way someone in their right mind would part that out or even modify it IMO. What's under the hood? Any other interesting options? SOMEONE BUY THAT TRUCK AND SAVE 'ER!

Re: You must see this.
It has no options other than the two tone paint if that was an option. It has no power/6 cyl/ stick.

Re: You must see this.
Yep its sold. Calvin bought it but I have no idea for how much he ended up giving the guy.
What he does with it I don't have a clue but if he does take it apart I am going to get first take on that cab and doors. Another thing. I did not put this here to sell. If I had wanted to sell it , I would have put it on the proper forum. I just wanted you all to see a nice rust free truck. Last edited by Mudder; 02-11-2006 at 11:18 AM. |

Re: You must see this.
Just a question not a snide remark I swear. With this body man's obvious talents why he has to recognize the value of the truck, right? Why did he just say to restore it with some TLC? Once again, I am just curious.

Re: You must see this.
Just my .02
While it is a shame to part out that truck, I don't see much difference in parting it out than to restore it and hide it in a garage just for the, "look what I got", factor. My neighbor had a extremely nice 72 shortbed 4x4 a few years back. I only seen it out of the garage about 3 times. Talk about a waste... If ya can't drive it it ain't worth anything IMHO. On a side note, Who can afford a $5-6K truck to part out anyway???

I would part something else out to keep this one going. It is just too perfect to tear apart, like my Dad's, that my Brother fixed up.

Re: You must see this.
I like seeing a stock unmolested truck. That thing would be great to run to the hardware store in, get stuff for the garden, pile the kids in and get a christimas tree etc, etc. I guess it would be nice to have a bone stocker and a built truck. How about a GM crate 383, 700r to replace the 6 and stick and a old 60's wood boat behind her. That would be nice.
