super swamper tsl

I just bought a pair on ebay. I found out that the wear bars have been cut out and he claims they have 50% tread left. Is this even possible. Would they be safe for the street or towing? they are 36x12.5x15. I may be going to get them saturday so a fast response is crucial.

Re: super swamper tsl

You could cut the wear bars out of a brand new swamper so I would say yes it is possible they still have 50% tread....not likely but possible.

Probly be even harder to balance because it would be really tough to cut all the bars out evenly. Sounds like a good set of trail tires but if it were me planning on hauling stuff on the highway with 'em....I'd have a spare or 2
