Longhorn rearends
I know the Longhorns may have came with different rearend configurations, but can anyone tell me say the most popular top 3 different ones. I own a 72 longhorn with leaf springs. I know it isn't posi but that is all.

Do you mean gear ratio? Or do you mean Corporate vs. 60? Most 3/4 ton trucks will have 4.10 or 4.57 gears depending on options. My GMC Longhorn pats truck has 3.73 in a 60, but the glove box sticker says max trac axle, but it is open, so could be gears were swapped or could be just the diff was swappe. Dunno. Big block trucks usually got a 60 with 3.54 gears.

The longhorn only came with leaf springs first off. The big block came with the dana 60 and 3.54 gears as standard. All other engines would have had the HO72 corporate axle as standard. My 69 longhorn has the HO72 with 4.10 gears.
