Eaton 12 bolt Posi Carrier
I have an Eaton posi that's been sitting around the garage a few years. Don't even remember how I came to own it. Anyway the numbers on the carrier are EDB 32212 E228. Is this for a chevy 12 bolt 67 - 72 pickup? Will it work with a 3.07 gear, 71 rear end? How can I tell if it is still good?

Have you tried Eaton's website? They have a page with carrier part numbers that you can reference.

do u kno the original ratio. i think 3.73 and numaricly higher gear go on the same carrior and under 3.73 use the same carrior.

I don't know the original ratio. How can I tell if this is a three series or 4?
I went to Eaton's website and couldn't find anything on 32212. I couldn't find anything on any eaton casting number. |
