When I push the clutch in on the Blazer all the way, she starts to make a screeching noise. Should I loosen it up, or tighten it. Its tough to get in gear too, if that helps any. Thanks, Jeff.

The screaching noise may be a bad throw out bearing. The clutch linkage may work better(easier) if you put the rod in the hole next to the spring. The clutch is adjusted properly if you have about 1 inch of free play at the top of pedal travel.

I agree, move the rod to the outer hole, it will slow down the amount of throw.

With the rod on the inner hole the bearing may actually be traveling too far and that could be your noise.

Thanks, I'll move it and let you guys know what it does. The throwout bearing and clutch/pressure plate are all new. Jeff.
