Here is my new project. Let me see if the pics post here. I also threw in a pic of my 2wd Blazer tub for good measure. The truck is a 72 swb cheyenne with metal floor, and the Blazer is a original 72 cst c-5 blazer.

Did you read all seven pages? I guess you had some spare time. All my "Brothers" are coming over to the shop on Friday for the first start up after the restoration. Cross your fingers.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
It's been a long time since I've been here. I bought a '72 back in 2002 and the short story is that just didn't work out. But this past weekend I got a '69 and I couldn't be much happier.
As you can see it's got a 71-72 grille. I'll change that when I have a little extra money. A previous owner put a Sony radio in but did not cut the dash. It also has Cheyenne Super emblem on the glove box and I'll need to swap that. My first priority is to put a new speedo cable on it so I don't get a ticket. I ordered a few odds and ends and after I install those I'll start looking for a grille and think about putting the right emblem on the glove box. Seems like someone wanted to make this look like a 71. My dad had a 71 and the idea is mildly appealing to me, but the idea of it looking "correct" is even more appealing. Glad to be back!

The red/white 72 is my 4x4 and the copper/white 72 is my 2wd. Haven't started to tear into them yet.
