Here's my '68, 307, TH400 This truck is how my parents met.

71 Gremlin X, 360, t-5, 8 3/4 rear, and dodge dakota seats.
82 Spirit, 4.0,ax-15, 8.8 rear and sti bucket seats

hi short bed but i dont know about the axles i was told 3/4 ton ,they have 8 bolt lugs

Here is my 67 it was going fast as I am a mechanic by trade but as you can see body work is not my thing. Lowered 2.5 inches in the front and 4 in the back.The truck cab is really rusty( Its too cold to drive it the heater cant catch up with the hole in the drivers side floorboard) but I am buying patch panels as we speak. Now to find a good 67 light green fender on here that doesn't get sold before i see it listed LOL
