So far, so good. It seems to be much thicker paint than the cheapo stuff. I think using the laquer thinner or even acetone 'dries out' the metal good and really helps it to bond. It's not tough like powder coating, but if you're careful not scratch it while putting it all back together it should be fine. Look at my thread on progress. I did the same thing to the brake booster, firewall, ps pump and brackets and all of the pulleys.
