Re: Sooo..What ya git done this weekend?

Had the big wake up call this weekend - spent most in the cardiac unit in the hospital - all turned out OK - started Friday night with a "venting" at the counter with the "clowns in brown" (package screw up) - 5 minutes later almost hit head on by a police cruiser and then 2 blocks later, almost side swiped by a taxi that ran into an intersection (sideways no less!) - I blew and the ticker sent the message down the left arm that I should call someone..... Home yesterday and all ok - just need to get the good cholesterol up a bit - smoked the stress test by 3 minutes over the average soooo after an overnight, they sent me home.... and that's where I wanted to be in the first place!

Banged the crap out of my new "used" 67 rear fenders with a hammer and dolly. At least they're rust free, dents under layers of bondo and spray can primer is another story..... I also painted my 6 lug rotors and sway bar (ECE stuff I bought from board members) and cleaned up my new "used" overflow bottle.

Re: Sooo..What ya git done this weekend?

Worked 12 hours on Friday night into Sat, went to bed for 4 hours, went to Bass Pro for a seminar (cancelled). Hung out there for awhile, then went to the new Horse Casino, used to be Bluffs Run Casino. I worked there for 3 years. They changed everything. That was boring so my friend and I went home and shot pool til 3 am on sunday. It decided it wanted to snow all day and I didn't do anything except hang out with my wife and daughter, then my buddy came over again and we shot pool and threw dart. Then I went to Bed at 10 so I could work a 12 hour day shift on Monday.

And by the way if you live in the Omaha, NE area this snow sucks! Had a rough time getting to work. Stupid two wheel drive S-10.

Ya all have a good day.

Re: Sooo..What ya git done this weekend?

Since last weekend I got my argon/co bottle filled, got the rest of my patch panels and door hinges. Should of been out working as I have a few more welds before I cover up the bare metal. Hate to let it sit for a few weeks but instead, I took my 16 year old daughter to Reno so she could attend her mom's wedding. I hope he has more luck with the ex than I did.

Re: Sooo..What ya git done this weekend?

it was a darn good weekend for the truck! sat i went junkyard hunting for a flywheel for '86 305 that's goin in my '69. after 7 hours of searching and 3 trips of differnet yards i fanlly got a the flywhell, clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing for my old set up. sun i finally dropped the new motor into it!!!!! hooked the headers up, core support, intake manifold, carb, alternator, battery, heater hoses, radtor hoses, thermostat, starter, clutch linkage, and all the wiring in. if the weather's good, and i get the valves adjusted and the distrugor in, ill finally get to fire her up 2morrow. chris.
