What year tilt column???????
I have a tilt column that I pulled from a 67 Chevy but it has a GMC horn cap, so I am thinking it is not original.
How can I tell what year truck it came from?

Desert Rat answered a similar question here.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...threadid=25689 Tilt did not come in 67 so I may be a correct tilt with a 67 steering wheel with GMC cap or it could be a van column with a different steering wheel. Check the length of the shifter arm... if it appears short it will be van column possibly, also check the lenght of the shaft coming out the bottom also... if its about 5 inches long its a van column also. Neutral safety work?
