I saw a real 2wd for sale. Nothing to do with me.

I saw this 2 wheel drive in town today. It is a real one, not a conversion. I stopped to look at it and the owner came out and said he really wants to sell it. It is rough, it’s a project. I have nothing to do with this truck sale just passing it on.

That is a steal. A running and driving 70. I wouldn't sell my rolling body for anywhere near that. Somebody definitely needs to snag it.

I wish I had the time and money, not to mention my wife just would not understand. When your wife is not happy you are not happy. It is rough with some body rot and some bad body repair but not a bad start. The owner is restoring a 72 4X4 K5 and seemed open for offers.

Re: I saw a real 2wd for sale. Nothing to do with me.

The rust is very minor just the outer rocker on the pass side and outer and inner on drivers side. Both front floors need replacing. Rocker boxes are free of rust as it the windshield!! Yes it has some body damage that needs replacing but it is all solid metal making repairs about as easy as they get. Also the body damage does not go past the outer skin so not structure to worry about. The top is a double wall but is shot and needs a new one. The rear top gate is in three pieces and bolted back together. The tail gate is a gmc. Now with all this being said it is in fact a factory 2wd and has very minor rust for a truck cab let alone a blazer. It starts right up and all elect works. It is still 4 wheel 6 lug drum and coil front and back. The title is clear and registered till Dec 06. And if you are wondering why I know so much about it that is easy, It's on my trailer in my front yard as we speak. As soon as I saw this I hooked up the trailer and took a 300+ mile road trip. It is now 1:15am and I will be getting up in 2 hours and 45 min to head into the bay area for a job site meeting. Yes it does sound like alot of fun...NOT!

PS. Jimmy72custom I owe you a few beers when you are in town!

I'm sure you will give it the proper stance, similar to your '71. That will be sweet.

A DVD on Blazers wouldn't be complete without rockerbox and windshield replacement!

Nice buy, Rg

I don't get over your way very often, but if I do I will take you up on your offer. I'm glad the Blazer went to a good home.
