Re: Tires
it depends on how much time you will be offroad.i run toyo radial at's on my dd z-71,they work well on and off road.but for more of a trail rig i would run something from super swamper.imo super swamper makes some of the best off road tires......

Re: Tires
I am currently running Mickey Thompson Radial Claws on my K10. They ride pretty good for something that looks like a tractor tire!
I used to have some BF Goodrich all terrains and rally wheels on it but I wanted something a little more aggressive. When I took off the ATs I installed them on my Camorado. I ran some Super Swampers on my 66. Very ugly but effective! I guess it all depends on what you are going to do with it. If you are on the pavement every day the all terrains are probably your best bet. A good set of snow chains will pull you through the mud and snow quite well if you rarely need to go off road. |

Re: Tires
Right now I'm running a cheapy Sport King A/T Steel Radials.
I've been thinking about maybe getting a more aggressive looking tire like Dayton Timberline M/T's or maybe some Goodyear Wrangler's when I get the new springs on the truck in a couple weeks...

Re: Tires
If you do any mud, BFG ATs dont do very well IMO. I would shoot for BFG MTs, Dueller MTs, Dunlop Mud rovers. I like swampers myself, of course its not a daily driver.
