Re: Chrome or Black
It's really about what you like, but for me on those particular wheels I think Black looks better, inexpensive wheels that are chrome really spell out cheap in my book. It kinda gives it that bad look look instead or the cute truck look.

Re: Chrome or Black
Black on a 4x4 always look like I'm tough and ready for action. They will hold up and look better too (IMO), especially if you are going to use the 4x4.

Re: Chrome or Black
being in indiana... and the salt used on the roads (assuming it will be a daily driver) I'd go with paint too. Inexpensive chrome wheels look like crap after a year or two.

Re: Chrome or Black
Depends on the overall look you`re going for.Chrome sure looks good on a dark blue truck.Especially if it`s a truck with trim.No chrome for a daily driver or outside truck in your area unless you want a new hobby called keeping the rust off my chrome wheels. If you use factory center caps, the area that is most prone(around the lugs)can be kept covered. You can always paint over the black ones if you want a different look.Like a factory look:Rallye wheel silver, beauty rings, and center caps.Or,color-matched to body...
