Clutch help????
I am ready to drive the Blazer out of the garage for the first time ever, and I can't get this stupid clutch figured out. Got the driveshaft back yesterday from having it lengthened and it went in fine. Fire up the engine tonight for its first test, and the clutch starts screeching as soon as I push in the pedal. Get under and look at it and the fork has popped off again. It almost acts like its too short or something. I'll post a pic of the part number to see if anyone knows if its the right one. I can't decide if its the right one or not. Also not sure the throw out bearing is in right. Does the small end face the clutch? I will attach pix of the fork. Hopefully someone will know if its the right one. Thanks for letting me vent, and the help if you can. Jeff.

Re: Clutch help????
If I remember correctly the big end goes toward the clutch. Can you post a pic looking up with the inspection cover removed? The incorrect placement of the release bearing could be the cause of all the problems.

Re: Clutch help????
Bearing looks backwards to me, big side goes towards the clutch.

Re: Clutch help????
It's backwards, and there is way to much grease. Use a little, turn the throw out bearing around and it should be fine

Dang it! I was afraid of that. Thanks guys for looking at it. If it wasn't for you guys, this thing would never be done. Jeff.
