Estate Auction in Kansas, 283 motors and other old things

My father's estate auction includes a lot of old parts that may be of interest to restorers who are doing a numbers correct car or truck. He liked to restore GM cars and had accumulated a lot of spare parts such as manifolds, carburetors, motors, transmissions, AC compressors etc. There are two 283 motors that are pretty much complete. I am not a numbers expert but here is how I think they are identified.

'57 283 engine number T123F which would be a powerglide motor originally. This motor appears original and has not been run for about 40 years. Has heads, manifolds, but I am not sure if we will find the carburetor.

58-62 283 engine number F0410DB which would be a powerglide motor also. This motor has been rebuilt and was running very well when the car was wrecked, also many years ago probably in the 70's sometime. It also has heads, manifolds, and is still together.

In addition, we have a couple 4-speed transmissions, several 4-barrel small block manifolds, carburetors, a lot of older parts from 20's and 30's cars, a couple John Deere tractors, antique tools, and more.

This auction is in El Dorado Kansas near Wichita on April 8, next Saturday. http://www.sundgren.com/Auctions/Sal...%20Auction.htm I am in Oklahoma but will try to answer any questions you may have.
