Coil Spring Clamp: how to place it when bolting down Coil Springs...??
I recently bought a 2/4 drop kit from ECE and i was wondering how exactly to place the coil spring clamp when bolting the coils to the control arms and frame. I am just guessing but it will be pretty dificult to explain without a picture so if someone has a pic of it place and bolted down right i would appreciate it. If someone wants to explain it in words i am totally fine with that, anything helps. I need help with the upper and lower placement. I just realized as i was typing this that i probably could call ECE and their people could help but oh well, i'll take help wherever i can get it. Thanks.

You are trying to clamp the spring to the control arm?
Use the clamp to compress the spring only. When I installed my drop springs, I ran into clearance issues, I ended up using A clamp designed for Ford Mustang springs as it mounts totally inside |
