really wierd!!!

i pulled the seat out of my parts truck today (70 c10) and i look at the gas tank and its collapsed in like someone sucked all the air out of it!!! i have never heard of this before maybe someone connected the vent tubes to vaccum line or something... it looks like a ziplock bag with no air inside... it got dark before i could take any pics sorry guys

A plugged vent can do that.

The PO could have used a non vented gas cap. I had to replace the one on my truck because i heard the tank popping like an aluminum can. The vent on the old cap had become plugged.

Some of the repop tanks are thin enough to do that no problem.
