Radio where heater controls are?
I was wondering how hard it would be to relocate the heater controls to the glovebox and install a cd player in a 71 without a/c. It looks like the opening for the heater control is big enough to fit a radio. I'm just not sure if there is enough depth and I am also not familiar with how hard it would be to move the heater controls. If anyone has done this, pics would be great. I am also open to the idea of doing some kind of custom heater controls. I dont want to cut the dash for the radio so up in the stock location I want to fab up something to house 3 1/2" guages to cover the holes. This is all just some stuff what was kicking through my head on my drive home from work. Thanks

Re: Radio where heater controls are?
I have seen a din sized radio in the heater controll opening and vintage air controlls where the radio was looked really good and it was a member of this board maybe they will step-up..
