350 transmision to a 700r4

i have a 1970 c10 pickup with a 3 year old 350 and rebuilt 350 trans and i have a 1982 700r4 out of a 6 liter diesal what do i need 2 do 2 change my transmission thanks

the 1982 and earlier 700r4 have problems with the lock up clutch burning up. they didnt have the kinks worked out till around 83 later. just a little fact that might help
